Our self-employed subcontractors complete a self-employment checklist for projects; this can be done either online or over the phone, whichever is more convenient.

In order to ensure that the self-employment status of a subcontractor is genuine, and as part of our continued commitment to compliance, a Self-Employment Checklist is completed for projects; this can also be done either online or over the phone, whichever is more convenient.

Self-Employment Checklists are project specific, and there is therefore a possibility that the circumstances of a particular project may determine that the subcontractor is unable to work on a self-employed basis. We are then able to provide an alternative solution for these individuals through our PAYE solution – Umbrella Plus. Once this specific project is completed and the individual moves onto their next project, then another self-employment checklist is completed.
