Do I pay the retained income if I am not working?
No. Crest Plus only retain an income from the contract sum that we receive from the agency for the services that you have provided for each project / assignment. If you have not worked there, will be no contract sum from which to deduct the retained income.
Why have I had a text message, but there is no money in my account?
We send the text message once your payment has been processed and has been transferred from our bank account to your chosen account. Although it is a same day payment, known as CHAPS, it may take some time to credit in your account, particularly if you are with a building society. We expect payments sent before 3.00pm to credit your account no later than 5.30pm.
If you wish to confirm your payment, you can contact your bank / building society and ask them to look for the exact amount detailed in your text message, advising them that it was sent by CHAPS. This may be more convenient than using an ATM (Cash Point), which can be a few hours behind.
If you experience further difficulties, please contact your Business Unit or request a call back and we will look into your records.

Do I need to send my timesheet to you?
Unless advised otherwise, you should send your authorised timesheets to your agency. We will then send you a text message to confirm that payment has been transferred to your chosen account. If there are any queries, you can contact us.
What happens if I work for more than one agency?
This is not a problem. Many subcontractors find work from more than one source. All you need to do is to contact us or request a call back, and we will discuss the matter with you. We will then contact the agencies involved to ensure we understand all of the projects you are working on, and then will confirm with you the appropriate retained incomes.
Can I send my hours across every 2 or 4 weeks and pay just the one retained income?
A weekly timesheet is normally required by the recruitment agency, and the hours for each part of the project are thus sent to Crest Plus on a weekly basis. Crest Plus will then process payment and will retain an income. When receiving multi-project payment requests from an agency, Crest Plus will retain an income for each project.
What is Employer's N.I. and why do I have to pay it?
Employer’s N.I. is the National Insurance Contribution Crest Plus Exchange Limited must make on your behalf as your employer. You do not pay it; it is a company cost which is deducted from the contract sum received from the agency before your gross pay is calculated. See the Please contact us if you would like to discuss this matter further.
